Christina Gray, Ph.D.

Christina completed her doctorate specializing in School and Applied Child Psychology in 2021 through the University of Calgary. She is a Registered Provisional Psychologist with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists. Christina has previously worked with children and youth providing psychological services through the public and separate school boards in Calgary, AB as well as the University of Calgary’s Integrated Services in Education Clinic. Christina specializes in assessments for children and adolescents including cognitive abilities, learning disabilities, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, as well as presenting mental health challenges, including anxiety.

 

Christina offers therapy and counselling services to children and adolescents, ages 6 to 18. Counselling and therapy services provided include the areas of CBT, mindfulness, depression, anxiety, and stress management. Christina also provides parenting support with a focus on behavioural strategies.

 

Christina comes from a strengths-based perspective and works with families to explore the strengths their children have across areas of functioning and identify resources/supports to promote growth in areas of difficulty.

 

Christina offers counselling to children and adolescents up to the age of 18. She provides individual and family counselling. Individuals may seek counselling for assistance in one of these areas:
