Tania Safnuk, Ph.D.

Dr. Safnuk completed her Ph.D. at the University of Saskatchewan in 2004. She is registered with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists with Authorized Practice Endorsement (APE), which allows her to diagnose psychological disorders. She is a member of both the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) and the Psychological Association Saskatchewan (PAS).

 

Dr. Safnuk has been in private practice since 2006 and has worked with a wide range of child, adolescent and adult clients facing challenges with mood and anxiety disorders, relationship issues, occupational difficulties, and chronic pain and health conditions. She specializes in the treatment of PTSD, mood and anxiety difficulties and the provision of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

 

She is an associate faculty with the University of Regina and is involved with the supervision and training of students and provisional psychologists. She is an APT consultant, an international partnership with a leading mental health training organization based in the United Kingdom, which provides training of the highest quality to mental health professionals.
