Dr. Megan Tuttle, Ph.D.

Dr. Tuttle began her professional training in her birthplace of Victoria, B.C. She obtained a B.A. from the University of Victoria (1998) and, subsequently, worked for four years with adolescents in a correctional setting thereby prompting her to seek further training in psychology. She moved to Saskatchewan in 2003 to complete her M.A. (2005) and Ph.D. (2010) at the University of Regina. She then resided for one year in Ontario where she completed a predoctoral residency at the Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre (2008 - 2009). Dr. Tuttle returned to live in Saskatchewan in 2009 and worked with youth and their families at Regina Child and Youth Mental Health Services (2009 – 2011) and the Adolescent Psychiatric Unit, Regina General Hospital (2011 – 2013).

 

Dr. Tuttle transitioned to private practice in 2014. She currently offers client-centered and evidence-based therapy to adolescents and adults in the following areas: Depressive Disorders; Anxiety Disorders; Trauma- and Stressor-Related Disorders; and Gender Dysphoria. Her treatment approaches include Cognitive-Behavior Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), as well as specialized training for trauma including Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PET) and Cognitive Processing Therapy. She is currently registered with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists with Authorized Practice Endorsement (APE), which allows her to assess and diagnose mental health disorders.
