Psychology Practicum Student

Hailey has recently completed her M.Sc. in Clinical Psychology at the University of Regina and will begin her Ph.D. in September 2026. From her Master’s internship, Hailey has experience running Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) skills training group sessions, providing individual therapy using cognitive behavioural approaches for generalized and social anxiety, and conducting cognitive assessment for children. For her Master’s thesis, Hailey studied the impact of race and ethnicity on pain judgements and responses, focusing on the communication of pain. Hailey will be completing an 8-month practicum at Prairie Psychology starting in the fall of 2026, under the supervision of psychologist, Danaka Schindelka. During this practicum, she will be conducting individual therapy sessions and assisting with psychological assessments for adults.

Counselling sessions are offered by Hailey at a reduced fee.
