Registered Social Worker- MSW/RSW #1008-Now Accepting New Clients

I believe people are more than the challenges they face, and that counselling should be a place where they feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported. As a Master's-prepared Registered Social Worker with more than 25 years of experience, I work with children, youth, adults, and families to build resilience and create lasting change. My goal is to provide a safe, collaborative space where clients build on their strengths, develop practical strategies, and move toward the life they want to live.

I support individuals navigating anxiety, depression, emotional eating, substance use, stress, grief and loss, trauma, and life's many transitions. I have a special interest in supporting those coping with traumatic loss, significant medical diagnoses, cancer survivorship, chronic illness, and persistent pain. I understand that these experiences can affect every aspect of a person's life, and I strive to help clients find resilience, hope, and a renewed sense of purpose.

I also enjoy working with children, youth, and caregivers to strengthen emotional regulation, coping, communication, and healthy relationships. I believe families thrive when everyone feels understood and equipped with practical tools to navigate challenges together.

My practice is grounded in cultural humility, curiosity, and respect for each person's unique story. I believe counselling doesn't have to feel intimidating. While we may explore difficult experiences together, I also believe healing can include curiosity, connection, and even moments of humour. I draw from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution-Focused Therapy, and creative interventions with children and youth, tailoring each session to meet each person's unique needs and goals.

In addition to my clinical experience, I am a licensed Craving Change® facilitator and have specialized training in supporting individuals living with diabetes and obesity, as well as cancer survivorship, chronic health conditions, and substance use. I am passionate about helping people develop a healthier relationship with food, their bodies, and themselves through compassionate, evidence-informed care.

Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, adjusting to a major life change, or simply looking for a different way forward, you don't have to navigate it alone.
